Hotel Tide Phuket

Sunday afternoon by the seaside pool, a contemporary Thai band called Baan Duriya – Samai Band played beautifully, with khlui, ranat, and khim, along with Thai and international songs. It was one of the highlights of a very happy stay. I booked a Deluxe Ocean View corner room, and from the balcony door I could see both the sea and the pool. The ocean and mountains made a stunning view. The room was very clean, well equipped, and thoughtfully prepared, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. Breakfast had lots of variety and was enjoyable too. I’ve stayed at other hotels in Phuket, but this one impressed me most. I’ll definitely come back and ask for the same room. ❤️

The bed was really comfortable, and the pool was pleasant, with a nice bar and generally good service. It would have been easier to communicate if the reception staff spoke better English. We stayed just one night and got food poisoning from breakfast. It was horrible. The room was standard and okay, but worn, dark, and not suited to a longer visit. The air conditioning was so loud we couldn’t use it at night, and we woke up sweaty. We wouldn’t stay again.

The pool was a real highlight, very clean and beautifully placed to enjoy the sea breeze and ocean scenery. The whole property has a calm, luxurious feel, from the well-designed rooms to the relaxing atmosphere, and the ocean views were stunning. It felt ideal for couples wanting a peaceful, romantic getaway. Staff were polite, attentive, and ready to help, and even small details were handled well. It is a little expensive, but for the comfort, cleanliness, views, and overall experience, I felt it was worth the price. One of the best sea-facing stays I’ve had, and it exceeded my expectations.

We skipped the hotel restaurant after reading other guests’ reports of food poisoning, and we had no symptoms. That meant walking a bit each time to reach a restaurant or convenience store, since there weren’t many nearby choices besides the hotel’s own restaurant. The large, clean pool was the best feature. Its view was lovely in the morning while watching the sunrise, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But hygiene was a concern: we found cockroaches in our room, and the tap water had a strong disinfectant smell that felt unpleasant on the skin.
