I picked this place mostly because it’s across the street from AKA. I’d first been put in a hotel on the main road, which was pretty terrible and poorly located, so this made a lot more sense. For training at AKA, it’s the most convenient option. The rooms are comfortable, clean, simple and functional, with a nice mountain view. There’s a pool in the middle, and the area is quiet. You’ll need transport for most errands, though. Shops, 7-11, laundry service and food are at least a 15-minute walk away. It’s more independent than a typical hotel. There’s no daily cleaning, just once a week. You buy your own water and have to ask for towels or toilet paper, but it’s easy to communicate and manage. The staff are very friendly. There’s a washing machine on site, bring your own detergent, and drying racks on the room balconies. It worked well for my stay.

We booked the cheapest room for a short stay, and it didn't impress us much. The room was the main downside: no room service, and it had been cleaned very lazily before we arrived. The hotel is small, but the cafe area is kind of cozy. The walls are thin, so you can hear everything the neighbors do. It’s good that they’re pet friendly, but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it.

We stayed here while training Muay Thai just up the road, and the quiet neighborhood was perfect, away from city noise. The room was clean and the pool was lovely. The hotel has a relaxed feel that fits Phuket, with friendly smiles and good service. It felt like being part of the family. We’ll miss the people who work here, and Jackie the cat too. We couldn’t recommend it enough for a true Thai experience.

One of the loveliest, most homey places I’ve stayed anywhere in my travels. I became extremely unwell and had to return home, and the staff gave me every bit of genuine support they could. I’ll always stay here when I’m in Thailand for training, especially with one of the top Muay Thai gyms only 500m away on foot. I couldn’t recommend it more 😍😍😍

We booked eight nights while training at AKA. Being just 20 steps from the AKA area is a big plus. The housekeeping staff were smiling, the cafe coffee was good, and the rooms are large, with a balcony and shower water that’s easy to adjust. But our room was dirty when we arrived, and we had to ask for it to be cleaned again or moved. There were pistachio shells and a condom box on the floor, a brown stain by the toilet door, dirty mirrors and shelves, hair in the shower, and dried toothpaste at the bottom of a glass. Since it was cleaned afterward, I don't consider that the main reason for my dissatisfaction. The real problem was disgusting mold in and around the AC. The rooms smelled so bad. Whenever the AC was on, the stench was awful and made it hard to breathe. It feels unhealthy and could be life-threatening for some people with allergies. Our clothes smelled so bad after leaving that we had to wash everything. You can’t sleep without AC here, but there are always lots of mosquitoes in the room. The towels leave white hairs on your body and clothes, and you have to ask for water every day. Other hotels leave it by the door automatically. Cleaning is only on request, and the rules say it’s polite to tip for cleaning. We cleaned the room ourselves, but we appreciate the housekeeping staff bringing us what we needed. There’s little around, so we hoped to eat at the hotel. At 5:30 pm, even though the cafe closes at 7:00 pm, we were told nothing was being cooked because the cook wanted to leave early. Another day, we went for dessert and were told they didn’t have what we chose. Cleanliness and good sleep matter most to me, and I slept worse here than anywhere. The fridge was very noisy, there was road traffic even at one in the morning despite the hotel being off the main road, and there was a gap between the doors. For the price, I expected more. We’d stayed in a cheaper, nice and clean hostel elsewhere in Phuket.
