The pool is large and inviting, with enough room for a proper swim, and the tents are spacious, spotless, and well cared for. The lush landscaping is lovely and keeps the surroundings feeling naturally cool and pleasant. At the bar and restaurant the service was professional, attentive, and efficient. The menu has excellent Thai specialties alongside other carefully prepared dishes. It's a calm, cosy place to unwind, and everything feels very well managed. Highly recommended.

At around 2 a.m., the team helped me out and let me rest in a Dom. They made the whole process easy and comfortable, and I'm grateful to them. The room and bed were super clean, the bathroom and eating area were clean too, and everyone was very kind. The place is beautiful and has its own charm, with banana plants and lovely-looking tents. Despite whatever you might read in reviews, my experience with roost clamping was positive in every way. Thank you to the roost camping team.

I stayed first in the female-only shared tent for a couple of weeks, then moved into a private tent. The shared one had three single beds, each with a big fan and a lockable valuables box. I got on well with the two women I shared with, and it had a lovely community feel. There isn't a large luggage locker, but there is a night security guard and I always felt safe. Upgrading was the best decision for me. The private tent had a queen bed, AC, and its own shower and toilet. It felt close to nature while giving me the comfort I needed to properly unwind, and was worth every penny. Roost Glamping is tucked into the lush jungle in Rawai, with a peaceful, cosy atmosphere. The camp is beautifully laid out, with communal spaces, a fire pit, and Tojo’s Café. I loved the menu, from filling breakfasts to flavorful dinners and smoothies. One highlight was a floating breakfast with my sister in the infinity pool. Very Instagram-worthy. The team at Roost Glamping and Tojo’s Café made me feel welcome from the start. The receptionists spoke English very well and were always happy to answer questions or help arrange things. The whole crew was warm and attentive. A special thanks to Jona, the humble, inspiring creator of the place. He was around making sure things ran smoothly and guests were comfortable. You can feel the care he puts into it. Thanks too to Rose, Ju, Jeab, Nay Nay, Junior, and Graham for making the stay comfortable, fun, and full of good memories. It's quiet and feels remote, but Rawai and Nai Harn beaches, massage places, restaurants, and bars are only a short ride away. This isn't a 5-star hotel, and that's part of the appeal. It's a cosy, soulful way to go glamping, with jungle sunsets from the pool, stars at night, and time to slow down without giving up comfort. Thanks again to Jona for his kind, guest-focused approach. Best wishes to him and his family with the rebranding and the future of this beautiful place. I'll definitely be back, and highly recommend it.

The surroundings are pleasant, and it's a short bike ride to RAWAI beach. I liked the pool, surrounded by greenery next to the open-air cafe, where quite a few guests were working on laptops. The shower and wash basin are open air, so there's a breeze, though there's no hook in the WC. I'm in an eight-person dorm. The mattress and bed frame are good, but there's no privacy curtain, and I heard a couple making the frame creak. AC only comes on at 9 p.m.; during the day the fans just move the hot air around, even in January. The Wi-Fi is secured, but the signal is weak and slow. I'm moving to a shared tent to try glamping, though it has only a fan and no AC.

We ended up with an air-conditioned tent, even though we'd booked one with a fan and private shower and bath. That was very sweet and much appreciated. The stay was comfortable, and we ate at the on-site cafe a couple of times. The food was healthy, delicious, and nicely presented. Roost is a fun, affordable, comfortable alternative to a hotel. It's a short walk from Rawai beach and the seafood market, and we could leave the car in the parking area and not drive again. We missed having s’mores at the campfire because dinner ran late, so we'll have to come back. We highly recommend it.
