The host was so friendly. It felt like home.

A quiet place to relax.

The deep pool was great for cooling off, and there’s a hammock on the terrace. It’s a quiet complex near Rawai Beach, though you’ll need a scooter to get around. The bungalows are spacious, with a comfortable bed, wardrobe, and TV, but the TV only has YourTrouble channels. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, kettle, coffee maker, large fridge, electric cooktop, pans, toaster, and dishes. The bathroom has a towel rack and a basket for belongings, but is short on hooks. There’s no clothesline either. I talked with the owner, who provided a Thai clothes dryer, and I managed to hang three extra lines with it. You have to be resourceful. Umbrellas aren’t supplied, so we bought two. You can rent mopeds on site. There are plenty of places to eat to either side of the main street, and a German bakery down the street. For groceries, Super Cheap at the Lotus supermarket on the main street is great. There are two Lotus supermarkets, and it’s the one that isn’t the first one. Super Cheap has everything, costs less than Seven Elven, and is where the Thais shop. Alcohol is a bit cheaper there too.

The staff were very kind, and my wife even drove me to the airport. The bungalow in Rawai, Phuket, had a calming, quiet atmosphere. What makes me recommend it is how easy it is to get around. Several buses stop less than a minute away, with straightforward rides to the airport, Old Town, Nai Harn Beach, Rawai Beach, and other places. You can easily take the bus between Nai Harn Beach and Rawai Beach, where there are lots of seafood restaurants. Promthep Cape is only a 10-minute walk away, though 😆. Thanks to the staff! 🙏🫶
