For 550฿, the room is affordable and comfortable enough to sleep well. Nothing fancy, just a place to wake up and head out sightseeing.

Good value for this price, which is hard to find these days. The hotel is budget friendly, with both fan and air-conditioned rooms. They're spacious, clean, well equipped aside from lacking a fridge and water heater, and cleaned daily. The shared areas and hallways are clean too. When I last visited, October 13-16, 2015, breakfast was included, either rice soup or rice with two extra dishes.

The room was clean and roomy, with cold air conditioning, hot water, and good water pressure. There were some real problems, though: a pipe leaked under the sink, the AC blew away from the bed because of the L-shaped layout so the room cooled slowly, and I couldn't change the TV channels. The night shift staff also seemed to lack a service-minded attitude.

For under 300 baht, you get a bedroom with a fan. It's simple and no-frills, but I felt fine sleeping there alone. Then morning came around again.
