The breakfast was the highlight for me. We placed our order the night before, then fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs and plenty more arrived on our deck in the morning. Staff were friendly, arranged an activity and sorted airport transport without any fuss. Our standard room was clean and spacious, with a fridge and outdoor deck; the bathroom was basic, but that was fine for us. The bungalows sit beside a quiet stretch of beach that's lovely for swimming. There's a 7-11 nearby, though it isn't marked on Google Maps, plus lots of restaurants and bars farther along the beach. Guests can also use the pool at Miami resort. I'd been a little apprehensive after reading some poor reviews, but this was my favourite stay of our Thailand trip. For a calm, easygoing place, I'd recommend Baan Pakgasri Hideaway and would happily return. I'd pick a beachfront room next time if one were available, as they looked even better.

The rooms were really clean, the A/C was comfortable, and breakfast was pretty yum. I was worried after seeing some bad reviews, but this place turned out to be great and right by the beach. Glad we stayed here, and I'd love to come back.

I couldn't wait to leave. My room was filthy on arrival, with hair in the bathroom, stained sheets, and a strange smell that never went away. When I asked for help, the staff seemed annoyed and acted like they didn't care. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and the air conditioning roared like a jet engine. The online photos were completely misleading; nothing looked as pictured. It definitely wasn't worth the money, and I'd never stay here again.

A really calm, cozy stay for our family. The staff were outstandingly friendly, and the beds made for a good night's sleep. Highly recommended, and we'd gladly come again.

Our little chalet was close to the beach, and we could walk to some good restaurants and cafés. The room was clean and had basic amenities. Breakfast was disappointing: the menu wasn't clear, and the woman serving wouldn't let us choose some combinations. We couldn't tell what was allowed, and she rejected almost everything we picked.
