The bungalows are roomy and seem to have what you need. The beach is fairly close, and there’s a basic barbecue setup if you want to cook your own food. In our bathroom, though, ants had taken over the shower, so we rushed through showering. The air conditioner was undersized and took more than 30 minutes to cool the room properly.

We fit 10 people in the large rooms without trouble, and the cleaning was okay. But compared with our stay a year earlier, it went from five stars to three for me. Our cabin had no kitchen, and was missing basics like toilet paper, towels, drinking water, and bedside lights. One shower had no hot water, and one room’s air conditioner was very loud. The walls, especially around the doors, could use a proper clean. The bungalows are still spacious and good value.

Good value for a couple of days by the beach. There are plenty of small beach hut restaurants just across the road. You can also buy seafood at the market and grill it yourself at the outdoor seating area.

A fun option for a big group, since the rental house is priced per house rather than per person, as many as fit can stay. Getting a reliable Wi-Fi connection is the downside.
