The staff are so welcoming and friendly, and the price is hard to beat. After staying at hundreds of hotels and resorts since moving to Thailand, this is my favorite. I especially love the rooms and how close it is to the sea.

Being right by the beach is a great location, and the rooms were quite nice. There’s no room service, restaurant, or coffee shop, though, and the patios don’t have proper rain cover. During our stay the main water pump broke, so from morning until evening we had almost no water pressure.

The staff made the stay for us. Their teamwork and warm hospitality were lovely to watch, and they really made the place feel welcoming. We picked Chatnipa Resort for New Year’s Eve because it’s on the beach and wasn’t priced as high as many other resorts. The resort looked surprisingly new. Our room was clean and spacious, the pool was huge, and the food was wonderful with lots of choices. Thanks, Chatnipa Resort, for a lovely stay. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Thai hospitality.

The pool is enormous and works well for families with children. Breakfast is included and very good, and the wifi was free with a strong signal. The resort doesn’t have extras like a gym or business center, though. Our room was roomy and in new condition, with a particularly well-designed bathroom. The TV is a smart TV with Netflix, which is handy at night if you have an account. Parking was easy, with lots of space. The resort is across from the beach, where there are plenty of restaurants. For a couple or a family on vacation, I think it’s good value.
