Hilton Garden Inn Rayong

The room was a pleasant surprise: huge, clean, and set up well for a restful stay, with a nice bed and pillows, a good TV, and a couch. The bathroom was only a little small, but the shower was good. The drain didn’t keep up, though, and water spilled onto the bathroom floor, so watch your step, it could be slippery. We came to Rayong city for the weekend, and the hotel met our expectations. Central Rayong mall is just a 10-second walk away, with lots of places to eat and shop. The hotel is beside a main road, so access is easy, but ask for an upper-floor sea-view room if you want to avoid road noise. There’s plenty of parking if you drive, though it isn’t private. Even with a security guard, there’s no guarantee it’s safe, so park where you can keep an eye on your car. The lobby is tiny, but that wasn’t an issue. The gym, pool, rooftop bar, and laundry machines were all good. A strong option for a stay in Rayong City. Highly recommended.

Pui at reception was kind and welcoming the whole time we were there. The staff were lovely, and the rooms were clean, well kept, and excellent. It’s right by the shopping mall, which is handy for a trip. The rooftop bar also has great views.

I stayed in mid-December 2025, just before Christmas, and this hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Its spot next to a huge shopping mall is a real plus, with a Big-C superstore just across the main road via a footbridge. There’s not much else in easy walking distance, but a short taxi ride gets you to a large Lotus superstore near a lively night market. Getting here takes some planning since it’s on the corner of Central Plaza mall by a main highway heading south. You’ll need your own vehicle or transport like Bolt, Grab, or a local option. The coast and the ferry piers to Ko Samet are a few kilometers away. I was greeted warmly, and as a loyalty program member, I felt recognized from the start. The rooms feel like open-plan apartments, with plenty of space, a very comfortable bed, large sofa, kitchenette, and an area for dining or working. The shower is roomy, and the bathroom is integrated into the living space for a modern look. Outside the apartment door, there’s a little porch or vestibule with a bench where you can leave your shoes. Views vary by room, either over town or countryside. Breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant was excellent. It has indoor and outdoor seating, and the egg station is outside, which is a nice touch. Upstairs, there’s a small plunge pool, a bar, seating areas, and a room for meetings or events. The upper floors also have a gym. This Hilton is a budget-friendly stay that still delivers on quality and service. Definitely worth considering if you’re in the area. 👍🏼

My stay was wonderful, and Mr. Sam Hilton Reyong had a lot to do with that. He welcomed me warmly as soon as I arrived and was professional, kind, and attentive throughout.
