The owners are friendly and willing to sort out problems, and the garden is a quiet, pleasant place, though it isn't well maintained. I paid 650 baht for a room that came with 3-in-1 coffee, tea, and bananas for breakfast. It feels like this place could be very good again, but age and poor upkeep have taken their toll. The room itself needs serious maintenance or renewal. The electrical system is obsolete, mostly doesn't work, and feels unsafe. The plastic door was nearly useless, half broken, and clearly hadn't been maintained or cleaned. Dust and moisture had built up on objects, too. The air conditioner is very powerful, enough to freeze you at night if you don't pay attention, but its direction flap didn't work, so adjusting it meant climbing onto the table. The layout around the bathtub is strange and unpleasant: it isn't separated from the bedroom, so smells and bathroom noises share the bedroom and living area. The shower and bathroom sink and tap were good. The mattress was old and among the most uncomfortable I've slept on. The cotton sheets were good, but the sofa was cheap, old, broken, and smelly.
