Panphuree Residence

For a one-night airport stop in Phuket, I’d book this again without hesitation. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and it’s good value, with no frills but everything you need for a short stay. There’s a decent cafe within walking distance for a relaxed morning coffee, a nearby 7-Eleven for essentials, and the airport is walkable if you’re up for it. I stayed for one night before moving to our main hotel.

The rooftop restaurant had a good variety, including vegetarian options, and I enjoyed the vegetarian meal I tried. The rooftop pool was another highlight, with great views, and there’s also a functional gym. My room was modern, spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. The staff were polite and professional, and check-in and checkout were handled efficiently. Phuket Airport (HKT) is very close, which makes this convenient for arriving or departing. It’s farther from nightlife hubs like Patong, though, so it suits a quieter stay or a stopover better.

The room was clean and had good air conditioning, and there’s a nice pool and bar area. I walked here from the airport, about 11 minutes from international arrivals and 14 minutes from domestic arrivals. With kids and lots of luggage, I’d take a taxi. I’m not sure why there are a few bad reviews. As an airport hotel, it’s one of the best I’ve stayed in for the price.

We stayed one night after a late flight, before transferring to another beach. It was an easy, quick drive from the airport, and breakfast was included and decent. There was an egg station, juice, potatoes, beans, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, salad, croissants, and toast. The family rooms were great, though the stairs are a bit steep and difficult for very small kids. The staff weren’t the friendliest we’ve met, but they weren’t unkind. There’s a 7/11 up the street if you need water.
