The host was lovely, and the food was excellent and freshly made. I stayed one night, and everything was clean and tidy. For a budget stay, it’s excellent value for money.

UPDATE: The reply is completely false. We contacted you on WhatsApp and got no response. There were no replies or requests for a medical form in the Booking.com chat either. The platform confirmed you hadn’t replied. I waited days for an answer, and I’ve attached a screenshot of the chat log on Booking.com. I can share the WhatsApp messages too. Don’t mislead people into thinking you were helping. I’ve also posted a photo on your Google page showing how you handled this. You could have apologized and put things right, but instead you threatened me and added information that was dishonest. My review was based on receiving no response. I didn’t make up or lie about the place or the stay. Threatening customers for leaving an honest Google review makes your accommodation seem vindictive and intimidating to future guests. How can customers feel safe there? I booked this hotel for 4 p.m. and was supposed to arrive by 8 p.m., but we couldn’t make it because of a hospital emergency. We messaged, used chat, and called to explain and ask for help, but the hotel ignored every attempt and acted as if nothing had happened. I often go to Padang besar, and this was my first booking here. Because of the lack of courtesy and service, I’ll never book it again.

What I’ll remember most is how welcoming the staff were. They were kind, attentive, and happy to help, from local suggestions and arranging transport to checking that I had everything I needed. The room was spotless and thoughtfully put together, with a very comfortable bed and soft, relaxing lighting. I felt at home as soon as I arrived. The place was peaceful and safe, surrounded by nature but still near restaurants and attractions. Mornings brought a gentle breeze, and at night the sky was full of stars. I’d recommend it to families, couples, or solo travelers looking for comfort, beauty, and heartfelt hospitality. I’m already looking forward to returning.
