The Ring Border was a peaceful place to return to, even though it's close to the border and attractions like Asian Cultural Village and Dinosaur Park, away from the noise of the main road clubs. Getting around is easy: the immigration checkpoint is about a 5 minute walk or a 2-minute drive, whether you're crossing into Thailand or heading back to Malaysia. The modern rooms were surprisingly spacious and clean, with a full-sized bathtub that was great after a long drive. The AC was ice-cold, the Wi-Fi fast and reliable, and there were plenty of outlets for gadgets. Staff were welcoming and spoke Thai and English well, so check-in and checkout went smoothly. It's clean, safe, and modern, and for the price, I don't think there's a better value-for-money hotel in Danok. I'll stay again on my next road trip.

A few months ago it was good, but I mistakenly expected the same this time. Now it's not maintained, with mould everywhere and lots of mosquitoes. The bathtub isn't maintained well, and the air conditioning takes time to get cold. The mattress looks okay, but the other things are poor.

Cleanliness was 5/10. There was mold on the wall and a weird smell in the bathroom. They also held my passport. Would I come back? No.

The roads leading to the hotel are narrow. The room was spacious and affordable, and even had a bathtub. Staff were friendly. The underground parking looked a bit steep, so we parked by the curb instead. It was surprisingly quiet for the Dannok neighborhood.

Parking was easy, and there’s a 7-Eleven nearby along with food and other things you might need. A nice place to stay.
