There's ample parking, which makes this a convenient choice if you're travelling with a car. The hotel is suited to families too, with plenty of room and amenities to keep everyone comfortable. It's peaceful and away from the busy city center, and the lobby looks luxurious. The spacious rooms add a touch of elegance. Great value for a family stay or anyone driving.

For less than 450B on Agoda, the stay was acceptable, though I'm not sure I'd return. We chose this older hotel for two nights because it was outside the busy center and hoped for lake views. The road out front was noisy, so we asked for a rear-facing room instead. The lobby looks grand and fancy, but the room was only okay. It seemed recently refurbished, old-fashioned in style but not worn out. Cleaning was minimal, with lots of dust behind the blinds on the window sills and on the floor beneath the bed. At the back, it was very quiet and the AC worked well. The mattress was soft for Thailand and the bedding comfortable, though the pillow was too hard for me and gave me neck pain. The wifi in our corner room was unusable: very weak signal, dropped soon after connecting, and asked for the username and password each time we reconnected. Also, taking the key card out of its holder cuts power to the refrigerator, so drinks aren't cold when you return from sightseeing.

We paid just 500B and had a very good stay. It's a nice hotel with a good location, a short walk from restaurants and shops. The room was spacious, had the usual amenities, plenty of hot water and good AC. Staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bed and pillows were soft with a warm blanket.

We chose this because hop inn was full and we wanted to be near the 2 bars around the corner. The hotel looks very fancy for the price, and I'd stay here again if I came back, though it loses a star for several things. The sheets in both rooms were stained. I think they'd been washed and were clean, but it was off-putting. The towels were very crispy and felt like exfoliation towels. There was mould along the sink rim and in the shower that should be dealt with, though it wasn't at a dangerous level. We were put next to a room where work started at 9am, with drilling and banging that woke us. If the front is full, the undercover parking is tight, with lots of poles to navigate, so it's not good for a bad driver. Wifi on the 3rd floor worked well and was fast.
