RedDoorz Premium Coco Hotel

The bed was okay, though I kept noticing the extra step beside it, which I’m not used to. The room felt dark, with wood pretty much everywhere, including the balcony slider. The shower was large but moldy, and it didn’t drain properly; there was dirt in it already, so I still felt unclean after showering. The toilet seat was peeling and rough.

I needed reliable internet to work on my computer, but there was no usable connection in my room. They said the Wi-Fi was down, although it worked on the first floor, and they couldn’t fix it until Monday. When I asked to cancel and find another hotel, they weren’t cooperative or understanding. I booked at the last minute around New Year’s Eve and really regretted it. The room was dark and the bathroom smelled of drains. Avoid this place if you have other options.

Coming back after staying here years ago, when it first opened, I found the rooms could use an overhaul. The sliding door opens directly outside, so there’s quite a lot of noise. At check-in, staff gave me a key card for a room that hadn’t even been made yet. It’s an adequate place to stay, and not far from the new monorail.

I’m writing this right from the hotel ;) I stayed four nights and had a great time. It’s a clean, quiet, modern new hotel, and the staff were very helpful despite limited language skills. The minibar was well stocked with soda, beer, and water, plus two Pringles and two packs of nuts for snacks. Room service was quick, and the food tasted great and was good quality.
