The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is older and has had some additions, but a few things needed maintenance: the shower head leaked, the bidet spray smelled, and the toilet light and power outlet didn’t work.

The food at breakfast was tasty and enough to get the day started, though there wasn’t a huge selection. I also found the staff welcoming and check-in and checkout easy. My room was roomy and clean, with a comfortable bed, quiet AC, and free, steady Wi-Fi. Central Place Hotel is down a small soi, so it was quiet, and getting there by car was easy. It’s a short drive from Central Mahachai mall and the seafood markets. There’s free parking, a little pool for kids, and restaurants at the hotel, too. I was pleasantly surprised by the stay and thought it was good value. I’d recommend it if you want a comfortable, quiet place in Mahachai.

The rooms were clean, but breakfast was terrible. It was odd that there was no iron to borrow. They did offer ironing service for 20 baht per item.

The room was clean, and the location was good. The hospitality was great too. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Mahachai, Samutsakorn.
