This is a peaceful little spot, a nice break from the tourist hotspots. Food markets and coffee shops are within walking distance, and the place stays quiet. The rooms are good for the price, and the staff are excellent. I loved staying here and would come back next time I’m in Chiang Mai.

I was sad to hear the previous owner had sold the place, but Ora has kept up the caring hospitality people knew it for. Sandy made travelers feel like family, and Ora gives me that same feeling. She also has an entertaining charisma that had us laughing. Recommended! 👍

The restaurant and cafe are just a few steps from the pool, and the rooms are close by too. They serve great food and coffee. The staff are very friendly, and Sandy, the owner, really cares about guests and how they enjoy their stay. I’ve tried plenty of hotels, hostels, and villas around Chiang Mai, and this is by far my favorite. It’s just off the main road, so you’re away from traffic and noise, while still having a safe, clean, affordable base for exploring. I’d recommend it to solo travelers, Muay Thai students, or families.

I love coming here for the relaxed feel and good food. The service is accommodating, and the quality is good. There are a few nice vegan choices, including spaghetti with tomato sauce or mushrooms and morning glory. The coffee is quite good too. Try a cold coffee by the cool residence pool, or get a delicious coconut milk fruit shake.

The place has a quaint vintage look, and the rooms are spacious, with a fridge and heated shower. It’s quiet, though the location feels awkward. It could also make a great spot for photography. There’s monthly rent, but you have to stay three months to get your deposit back. That wasn’t explained up front. There’s no kettle or water heater for making coffee or tea.
