Phanumas LongStay Resort

I’m staying in D2 after arriving yesterday, and we booked a three-bedroom villa. The rooms are clean, fresh, and comfortable, though we weren’t given enough water bottles. We had asked for buffet breakfast when booking. This morning, 19.2.26, we went down at about 7:30, but the buffet wasn’t ready. Around six or seven of us arrived together, and there was only one chef and no other staff. There weren’t enough fried eggs, and when another group arrived, bringing the total to about 10-12 people, the eggs and coffee cups weren’t replenished in time. Some cups and plates were visibly dusty and not clean. Breakfast service should be ready and timely at 7:30. I hope the resort takes this feedback into account and improves. With better restaurant service and staffing, it could become one of the best in Chiang Mai in the future.

The villas are clean and spacious, and the staff are warm, friendly, and quick to help. I especially enjoyed the local food, and breakfast with the surrounding views was memorable. It’s a quiet, comfortable place for a longer stay, with attractions around Doi Inthanon and Chiang Mai nearby. Rice fields and mountain views give the resort a calm, cozy feel. It’s a lovely escape from the city and a hidden gem for relaxing.

The apartment and grounds are lovely, and there’s a nice pool, but I can’t recommend a stay here. The sheets were stained, the kitchen didn’t match what was advertised, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. Communication was slow, and both the taxi and laundry services were unreliable.

It’s a quiet little farm, with fields to wander through and a very nice pool area. The rooms were clean, and the staff were helpful and kind. Breakfast is available each day. It’s about a 30-minute drive from the center of Chiang Mai. The only drawback for me was the Wi-Fi, which didn’t work very well, though the staff did their best to fix it.
