It’s closing during the week of February 10, 2019. Looks like the owner tried to raise the rent and ended up losing a tenant and that income. Maybe someone will take over the lease, but it doesn’t seem likely. Sad for the people running it.

A quiet place that works well for solo travelers. The owner personally looks after the property, and the service is excellent.

I loved how calm the setting was, while still being easy to reach from Chiang Mai. The staff made me feel welcome, and my bungalow had a hammock on the terrace that was just right for relaxing. I also had a lovely traditional massage in the garden and felt very comfortable here. There’s plenty to do if you want: volleyball, fitness equipment, or even Thai boxing. The village is an easy walk away, with restaurants and a small Saturday market. There’s also a Japanese teahouse with a garden and delicious food. A great rural spot to slow down and unwind.

It feels very natural, almost like staying at a relative’s home. Just don’t come expecting a luxury resort.
