We only spent one night here, and I'd rate it 7 out of 10. The condo was clean and nicely renovated, with a kitchen, microwave, cooker, large fridge, spacious bathroom with a bath rather than a shower cubicle, balcony, TV and sofa. The double bed was on the small side. The grounds are large, with two pools that get sun all day and stay warm. It's quiet, with no nightclubs nearby, though a radio blaring from the neighbouring house in the morning woke my wife and was unpleasant. There's a beach 500 metres away, but we skipped swimming because the water was dirty. A clean “military beach” at the Thai Navy naval base is a 20 minute drive away, and swimming there is fine. The hot water was unreliable: the pressure was weak, and when switching from tap to shower, it ran for about 20 seconds before stopping. Keep that in mind for a longer stay. Breakfast was quite poor, as is common at inexpensive places in Thailand. There's no buffet, just food ordered, rice, omelette and sausages.

It's a lovely spot, away from the madness but still easy to get to if you want it. The beach is beautiful and feels almost private. The grounds are exceptional, with a gorgeous ornate Coy Carp pond, and a couple of mini goats are due to arrive soon. The owner is a very nice guy when he's in town. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The place is quite far from town, so it suits people looking for peace and privacy. The beach is about a 700-meter walk away. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with lots of space, especially in the living room and kitchen. It was very clean and a little dated, but well cared for. Pets are allowed for 300 THB per night. The garden is large, though the pool is small.

There’s a quiet local beach nearby, with a calm sea and a light breeze. You’ll need a car, rental car, or taxi to get to the resort, since it’s far from the popular beaches. I’d recommend walking there or driving, and doing so before dusk. My room was clean overall, but the shower, tap, and toilet had weak water flow.
