The staff were wonderful, but I had a serious problem with the owner. I paid 8,500 baht for a month, plus an 8,500 baht deposit. There was a misunderstanding about charging the daily rate from New Year for the last week, so I checked out after three weeks to avoid that rate. The owner refused to refund the unused days, kept 2,000 baht and returned only 6,500 baht. I consider that dishonest and a scam, and I plan to report it to the authorities. I found the behavior shameful. The air conditioning was also very old and inefficient. It had to be set very low to cool the room, and the electricity and water charge came to 8,500 baht for three weeks, despite me being away from the room for four days and nights. I felt the electricity fee was inflated and was very disappointed. I expected the month to cost 8,500 baht, but three weeks ended up costing me 11,500 baht, plus 8,500 baht for electricity. Be aware.

In the heart of Bangsaray, close to the market and beach, with just about everything nearby. The hotel has a lift, and the rooms are a good size, clean and modern. Mine had a nice balcony with views.

At 700B a night for the walk-in rate, it’s good value. The rooms are well appointed, though they’re showing some wear, and there can be noise from nearby rooms. There’s an attractive monthly rate as well. It isn’t right on the beach, but it’s in the area’s most concentrated business district, with lots of attractions and the ocean about 1 km away.

The number listed on the booking site was out of date, so I couldn’t tell the desk I’d arrive 10 minutes after check-in time. The room smelled like toilet cleaner 😞, and there wasn’t even a bar of soap in the bathroom. It felt like Thailand 15 years ago.
