That last night couldn’t come soon enough. When we entered the room, there was a dead bug on my pillow. The wardrobe door was broken and wouldn’t shut, the air conditioner remote didn’t work, and the room was so cramped there wasn’t even room for our luggage. The worst part was that nobody at the hotel spoke English. When I tried to explain everything calmly, the young woman at reception was rude and impolite. The swimming pool connected to the beach was nice, at least.

For what it costs, the value is okay, though the place could be much better with improved repairs, upkeep, and service.

I stayed here last year, and the condition is now very poor. I had to clean the washroom myself, and the water wouldn’t drain. At 2,000 baht per night, I expected a lot better.

The room smelled musty and didn’t feel worth what I paid. The bed was old, made from rotten plywood, and the water heater had weak pressure. I was also surprised to find no drinking water when I checked in and opened the room.
