Lipe Garden Beach Resort

We enjoyed the restaurant next door, and the staff were all friendly. Breakfast was included, basic but nice. Our room was simple and good, with a fridge, air conditioning, and a pleasant balcony. We were in room 201, which even had a sort of sea view. Bring mosquito repellent. We booked early and got a really low rate for our two-night stay. I'd recommend the place to anyone.

I left my flip-flops outside the room and someone took them. When I told reception, the response was just, "I don't know where they are." I wasn't upset about the flip-flops themselves, but the receptionist's reaction was awful and offered no help. He went straight back to watching videos or playing games on his phone. Breakfast was somewhat poor. The massage and its location were nice, and the resort itself is okay, with a good look if you want to be surrounded by nature. There were lots of bugs, ants, and spiders around and inside the rooms.

We had a lovely time and wish we'd stayed longer. The location was good, the rooms and outdoor area were nice, and the Thai massage was great. The women giving the massages were very friendly. The bathroom smelled quite bad, and the rooms got pretty hot without air conditioning. Still, I'd definitely stay again.

The room was nice, and I liked the view. But the checkout time in the email I received was noon, while the time there was 11am. Also, the woman who makes smoothies makes the best ones on the island.
