MORE Patong Hotel

We stayed three nights, and I wouldn't go back or recommend this place. It felt aimed at business travelers on a corporate itinerary, with little comfort for tourists wanting a relaxed stay. The receptionist was condescending, unwelcoming, and unhelpful. We weren't allowed to bring outside food anywhere on the property. At the entrance we were told to eat it in the lobby, which seems unreasonable at this price. The hotel sits at a busy intersection, with traffic noise all night, yet isn't conveniently near anything worthwhile. Its bathroom is extremely narrow, around 3 to 3.5 feet wide, and felt claustrophobic. It has transparent glass with interior shading, something couples may overlook but solo guests or people staying with someone who isn't a partner should know about. Signs asking guests to stay quiet and avoid conversation are posted throughout, making the place feel institutional and uncomfortable. There is no lift, which could be a problem for older guests or anyone with mobility concerns, and the staircase ceiling is unusually low, so watch your head. The complimentary lobby coffee and water can't be taken to your room and have to be consumed there in front of staff. Wi-Fi was unreliable and needed a manual router restart; with no intercom, I had to walk down the stairs to contact reception every time. For what you get across the board, it's significantly overpriced.

Ms. Soda was a wonderful host, warm and welcoming, and especially helpful with planning our adventure itinerary. Her advice made the trip smoother and more memorable. The hotel was excellent too, with spotless, well-maintained rooms that were very comfortable and made our stay relaxing from the moment we arrived. We'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Phuket.

I regret booking this place in advance and definitely won't return. The receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. There's no guest parking, so with my car I had to leave it in another alley, which was very inconvenient. All the rooms are on the 3rd floor, with no lift and no staff or bellboy to help with luggage. This isn't a HOTEL, maybe a guest house or motel at best.

I had a happy, private stay and really appreciated the care. More Patong Hotel is new, with a spacious, clean room and a very comfortable bed. The staff were kind and friendly, and helpful with luggage storage. They also provided free fresh coffee and drinking water. I'll come back and recommend it to friends.
