Citrus Patong Hotel by Compass Hospitality Hotel

We found the location really convenient. Patong night street and Patong beach are both about a 10 to 12 minute walk away, and Indian restaurants are close by too. We stayed here as a couple. The rooms were clean, the staff were good, and the price wasn’t high. It’s a suitable basic hotel if you’ll be out all day, though the breakfast could offer more vegetarian choices. There’s a travel agency next door, Best Phuket Tour. Ms. Mint was helpful and can arrange travel or activities, as well as guide you in putting together an itinerary.

Everything we needed was close by, including shops, restaurants, and the beach, all within walking distance. The staff were great, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They made the stay feel especially welcoming. I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We left partway through the trip and booked somewhere else, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room felt run down, old, poorly maintained, and not clean. The photos online gave us a very different impression, and it wasn’t what had been advertised. The location was probably the only mediocre part, and even that couldn’t make up for the rest. I booked Citrus based on the photos and reviews, but in person it felt like a completely different place.
