San Pita

San pita is perfectly located on Koh Lipe, a short walk from the beautiful beach and lively walking street. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops to explore nearby. I had an amazing stay.

I stayed three nights and found it quite pleasant. The location is really good, and the reception lends beach towels and mats to guests. The rooms look different from the online photos and feel very old-fashioned, but they're clean. My favorite part was breakfast pancakes, so good and not to be missed 😋

San Pita is in a very strategic spot, close to walking street and Adang sea divers, where we went diving, and within walking distance of sunrose beach. We stayed four nights in a clean ground-floor room overlooking the pool. They changed the sheets every day. There was an extra bed available for 500 baht per night, and they also picked us up from the jetty. The main downside was how dim the room was. The only light was an upward-facing ceiling light. We also somehow ended up with a swamp of mosquitoes in the room, so bring insect repellent. Breakfast was okay, nothing too bad.

The pickup at the jetty was a nice surprise, and the hotel also gave us a tuk-tuk ride back there when we left. We’d booked two stays of three nights each, six nights altogether, during peak season on Koh Lipe. Our first room was beside reception on the ground floor, with no pool view and no window. Its sliding-door entrance meant we couldn’t open the curtains without people at reception seeing inside. We asked to move, but were told the resort was full. The receptionist kindly checked again and said we could switch the next day. The room we’d booked through Agoda was supposed to have a safe and hairdryer. I needed to wash my hair that first night, but reception was closed, and the shower drained very slowly. The next day we moved upstairs to a room with a balcony, a safe, and a hairdryer provided on request. We had a good stay in the end, though I’m not sure I’d choose it again.
