Satun Tanee Hotel

The staff service was commendable, with a front desk and daily room cleaning. It’s near the night market, so there’s somewhere to spend the evening, and the location makes it easy to reach almost every facility. It’s easy to find and has good parking. A really beautiful hotel, overall a good place to stay 🏨

There’s no lift, which is the one downside. Otherwise, the room was renovated and super clean, with good water pressure. There’s plenty of parking, and it’s right next to the night market, just around the corner from the old town. I’d stay here on my next visit.

The location is great, close to the night market and easy access to everything. I was only there briefly to catch the next day’s ferry to another island, so I booked the cheapest, most basic room. I can’t speak for the others, though staff said the AC rooms are good. My room was super hot and had ants everywhere. I kept sweating even after showering. When I told reception, they were attentive and came up straight away to help and move me to another room. Unfortunately, it had the same problems. I went out and came back late just to sleep, then checked out the next day. Breakfast came with every booking, which was great. The stay wasn’t bad overall, still manageable 😊

The building looks pretty average from outside, but inside the rooms are really lovely and good quality, with all the amenities: AC, hot water, TV, fridge, coffee in the room, and Wi-Fi. The lady who checked me in was very lovely. They had a special promo for 590 baht including breakfast (Sept 2020). I’m very happy and will be back.
