Wapi Resort Koh Lipe

We only booked two nights at first, then stayed four because it was so lovely. Right on Sunrise Beach, the location is perfect, and you can borrow snorkels or hire bicycles and kayaks. Walking Street is just a couple of minutes away. Be sure to head to the North beach for sunset. The welcome was warm, and all the staff were cheerful, kind and quick to help. Our room was spotless, spacious and beautiful, with a comfy bed and good air conditioning. They provide a stainless steel bottle you can refill with fresh drinking water, a smart way to cut down on plastic bottles. Breakfast was really good, with eggs, yoghurt, fruit, bread, cakes, fresh vegetable rolls, juice and good coffee. We loved our stay and would definitely come back to Lipe.

We were lucky to find this place and would happily return. We travelled as a family of four, with two adults and two young children, and loved our stay. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and breakfast was simple but delicious. The resort is right on the beach, with lots of trees and space, and Walking Street is only a short walk away.

We tried the mango sticky rice and it was especially delicious. The food was nice, and service was good, with humble, welcoming staff. Breakfast is available, but vegetarian choices are limited. It would be great to see more, especially since quite a few Indian guests stay at Wapi Resort. The resort sits right on the beach, just as the pictures show. Koh Lipe is a very small island, and this is a lovely place to stay. We also really enjoyed kayaking to nearby islands. The views are beautiful and the island atmosphere is calm.

Chicken arranged free transport for us to the pier on Pattaya Beach when it was time to leave. Chicken 🐔, tiny Big Boss 😃 and the rest of the staff were fantastic. They sorted out our huge laundry problem and gave us beach towels and flip flops for the room. The breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful. The setting was perfect for breakfast and lunch, and for watching the sunrise. It's also a great spot for walks along the beach to North Point beach for sunset, with restaurants, shops and Walking Street just a short stroll away. 5-8 March 2026.
