Holiday Inn & Suites Siracha Laemchabang by IHG

The hotel has a lot of potential, but the managers and chef seemed unprofessional. When we arrived, the receptionist was professional and courteous, as is typical in Thailand. After that, though, the place felt unmanaged, with basic upkeep neglected. We went to the pool every day, but the floor usually wasn't cleaned, so our feet got covered in mud going in and out. The designated smoking area outside was filthy and smelly too. The food was the worst part: most dishes were inedible and came cold after a very long wait. We were the only couple who had ordered food in the restaurant.

We had a very comfortable stay and didn't regret choosing this hotel, apart from the exterior and surroundings. The rooms are first-class, well equipped, and comfortable, and the lobby is impressive. The bar is tiny, though its surrounding seating area is lovely and well kept. I found the pool very disappointing, nothing like the pictures or what I expected. The photos gave me the wrong idea about the setting. I thought it would be more idyllic and closer to the sea, though I hadn't checked that. The hotel is actually right in an industrial area, and it feels more like a business hotel than a wellness place in a pretty location. The neighborhood isn't attractive at all. The balcony is at most a meter wide and 30 x 70 cm deep. There's a washing machine there, which is great for a longer stay, but calling the rest of the space a balcony is a stretch. A second washing machine would clutter it completely. We were here for New Year's Eve 2025/2026; I'll add an update about the seafood buffet later.

My first stay at Holiday Inn Siracha was wonderful, and the rooms were spotless with a welcoming feel. The interns and trainees at the Concierge, breakfast room, and Front Desk were so attentive and sweet. N’Nat (or Nut) and N’Liew, the Front Desk Trainee, always greeted me with a warm smile. They really brightened my stay, and I wish them the best as they begin their hospitality careers. Khun Pop handled my two separate bookings smoothly at check-in, and Khun King was a great help at my second check-out. I do have feedback about how problems are handled. The iron seemed electrically unstable, looked old, and had burn marks on its plate before I used it. It overheated and damaged my trousers. When I reported this at check-out on Jan 12, 2026, I was told they would send a technician to check it. I understand the process, but I had hoped for more empathy or proactive help after the damage had already happened. The item wasn't expensive, and I'm not concerned about the cost. I love the brand, and better action and communication when a guest reports an issue would improve the experience. Even with that, I had a great stay. I appreciate all the staff I met and spoke with, and I hope to see everyone again. Good luck, and Happy New Year!

The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful sea view. There was a pool, gym, hot spring area, and restaurant. The location was convenient too, with various attractions and malls within ten minutes, and it suited us for going to Bangkok, Pattaya, and Rayong. We enjoyed the stay enough to arrange another visit. We hadn't been to Laemchabang before. I found on Google that it wasn't far from the Bangkok hotel where we live, and it was easy to take a bus from Ekkamia bus station in Bangkok, about 90 minutes. The hotel was a minute's walk from the bus station. When we arrived, a receptionist promptly came to the entrance to help with our luggage. Miss Paint at the front desk was lovely, warm, polite, and always smiling. She explained the restaurant and facilities in detail. Mr. Martin also helped us with an issue and could answer questions about nearby travel information when we couldn't find it on Google.
