The bed is comfortable and the aircon works well. It’s a Japanese customer-focused hotel, with a Japanese-style bath. In the room there’s a small kitchen with a microwave and heating plate, plus a work desk and a proper office chair.

Behind the hotel there’s a nice restaurant for dinner and pork leg noodle for breakfast. The Japanese-style toilet and bath sets are lovely. Remember to check out before leaving the hotel.

All of this happened on our first night, and I won’t stay here again. We started in room 808, where the bathtub was dirty, with black residue that looked like fibers from a mop (refer to video). After I asked at the lobby, we were moved to 407. The bedsheet there was stained and had hair on it. Reception sent cleaning staff, who had to sort through several “clean” sheets before finding one that looked acceptable. That night, yellow water came from the bathtub tap. I reported it at reception and mentioned the other problems since check-in. The receptionist said the cleaning team had cleared the first room for check-in. I pointed out that guests see the hotel as one entity, so if that was true, it was an internal communication problem, not something to pass between departments. We were moved again, to room 408, which was also dirty. There were bathroom stains that wiped off, so it hadn’t been cleaned properly. We were exhausted by then and just put up with it. Service needs to improve at reception, without finger-pointing, and overall. The hotel never followed up.
