The place is so quiet, and the owner and staff are incredibly kind. You can get by even without speaking English 😉 I spent a peaceful week relaxing in a container, with birds and squirrels around when I sat outside. Just remember mosquito repellent, it feels like being in the jungle 😉 My room was clean, had everything I needed, and the bed was so comfortable that I slept wonderfully. I was a little concerned the temperature might feel like an oven, but it was easy to adjust, so that worry was unfounded. The Wi-Fi also worked perfectly, even though this could be a good spot for a break or digital detox. And don’t be afraid of the dogs, they’re both very tame and sweet. There are several good restaurants within walking distance, plus a 7-Eleven for essentials. Shopping centers in town are easy to reach on foot or with the Grab app. If things work out, I’ll definitely come back. I’m curious to see how the 'houseboats' develop 😁
