The room was spacious and economical, though quite run down. If you're after an affordable place and don't mind paying at the property even when card payment is declined, it may be okay. My main concern was booking through booking.com. The hotel emailed to say I'd entered the wrong card number and that I had to pay by cash or card at the hotel. That made me worry about being charged twice. The claim seemed odd because I couldn't cancel the booking without them deducting the hotel fee from my card. After I asked repeatedly, they said they hadn't linked their card processing with booking.com or Agoda, so payments through those platforms would be declined and guests had to pay at the property. Maybe it's to avoid platform fees, but I don't know. The jacuzzi looked nothing like the advertised photo. The water looked dirty, toys were floating in it, and a lot of sand had settled at the bottom. I wondered how often it was properly cleaned and how long the toys had been in there.

The room was large, but old and unlike the online photos. The toilet clogged, and a ceiling panel outside the room was missing, letting a smell from the ventilation system above leak through. There are better, cheaper three- or four-star options in a similar price range. There was no breakfast for two or coffee in the room, yet the hotel required a 1,000 baht deposit before giving access to the room. With rooms right beside the noisy main street, I wouldn't recommend it to families looking for a quiet, comfortable stay.

The bedrooms have an odd smell, and the hard bed and cushions weren't comfortable. Paint is peeling in both the living room and bathroom, and the rooms feel very old. It might be a nice hotel after renovations, but in its current state I can't recommend it, especially with much better Japanese-style hotels nearby.

At 4am, a toilet water pipe burst and we barely slept after that. The facilities are very dated, and all we got was an apology, with no compensation or other steps taken.

For 1,600 baht for three people, it felt worth the price. The hotel is old, but our room was clean and roomy, with all the essentials, and the location puts you right in the heart of Si Racha.
