I found the mattress very hard, though my friends disagreed, and the pillows were soft and comfortable. The decor is minimalist, and the amenities are limited but enough: air conditioning, WiFi, and a fridge, with hot water, tea, instant coffee, and similar supplies available at the office. We paid 500 bht per room. The location turned out to be a pleasant surprise, convenient for walks, restaurants, a hospital if needed, and a great laundry.

I'd put sichon modern hotel at the top of my list. It's run by a lovely family who provided wonderful service and help. The room and location were perfect, with lots of nature nearby.

I've stayed three times, for several nights in June and December, 2023, and January, 2024, and hope to return more often. It's cyclist friendly, and booking directly with the hotel is the way to go. Good value, clean, safe, and modern, with good shower pressure, aircon, a fridge, reliable wifi, parking out front, and a coffee and tea counter outside.

The room was clean and fairly priced at 500 Baht when I booked directly with the hotel. The bed was okay. I would have given five stars, but the walls are thin enough to hear noise from other rooms. I also forgot to tell them there's a translation mistake in the bathroom.
