SN Plytorn Beach Hotel

The room was tidy and clean, though a little old and with very few facilities. Nice view, and the beach is close.

The tap and shower water smelled, and there were cleanliness problems. I had booked and paid through Agoda for two nights in a deluxe sea view room, with the booking confirmed. On the second day, the resort owner made me move to a cheaper standard room, which completely ruined my holiday mood. Everyone should avoid S.N. Plythorn Resort unless you might become the next person to have a horrible experience and a ruined holiday.

The mornings were my favorite: watching the sun come up over the beach, then walking from the chalet to the morning market for porridge and fried chicken from Khun Daud and Sakinah. We spent the rest of the day lounging and eating on the balcony. The chalets have some flaws, but they were easy to overlook, and guests are treated very well. The chalets are charming and just steps from the beach, where you can fall asleep and wake to the waves. This hotel has the best beach on that stretch. We stayed six days and enjoyed every moment. We've driven more than 10 hours from Malaysia to come here and have stayed several times. Many thanks to Khun Nui and Khun Fun for all the great stays.

A little worn and not very well maintained, but it's a good place to rest. Works for couples.
