The owner, Martin, is polite and articulate. It’s dog friendly too. They’re renovating continuously, and I’ll be glad when the swimming pool is finished.

I feel for them as they try to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic. Service has been downgraded for now, so customers should be prepared.

Shabby and depressing.

I was very impressed by how attentive the owner was. The room I’d booked was occupied by children doing activities nearby, so he moved me to bungalow V5 without charging extra. It cost 500 baht, plus 250 baht for an extra bed, though that wasn’t the actual price. It’s less than a 5-minute drive from Pak Meng Pier. The beach is nearby, but probably a bit far to walk. The room was spacious and very clean, with a fridge, really cold air conditioning and a large balcony for hanging clothes. There’s parking right in front, though it isn’t covered. The bathroom had two showerheads and a handy foot-washing tap. The bed was comfortable, the pillows and mattress smelled nice, and I slept very well. There’s also a swimming pool. The owner was lovely and friendly, and looked after me well. Great value for a budget stay near the sea, with a clean, comfortable room. Highly recommended.
