For the price and such a central location, this was decent enough. The room was large and inexpensive, and they let me bring my bicycle up to it. There were some water issues, and maintenance could be improved.

The room was clean and fine for one night, and the 350bht price for one person was good. It’s also close to shops, restaurants, and food markets. But I didn’t feel safe or welcome when I arrived. Two dogs growled at me, and the young man at reception barely acknowledged me because he was busy looking at his phone. Customer service, minus five. They charge extra if you want to use WiFi on more than one device, and you need a special code to log in. I don’t know what else is available in town, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

I had planned to stay here, since the place looked decent and 350thb for a single room was a good price. But when I looked at the room, I saw the bed was thin foam and rock hard. They said all the beds were like that, so I left. If you’re okay with a very hard bed, I’d recommend it. I stayed at Somsri Apartments (hotel) on the south side of town instead and was happy there.

It’s a daily rental in an apartment building, and for 350b the room is fine if you don’t mind a bed that feels like a rock. The reception staff were friendly with me, since I could speak Thai. There’s a cheap steak place next door if you’re tired of Thai food 😍. The location is good near the market, though it isn’t downtown by Khun San Road.
