Ashcarya Boutique Resort

The food was very bland, even though we ordered basic Thai dishes, and the restaurant service was a real letdown. Orders went missing or needed repeated reminders, timing was mixed up, and we had to ask several times for plates and bowls. Maybe the Songkran holidays affected staff rotation, but the food and beverage service needs a lot of work. The pool also needed more upkeep, with dead bugs, leaves, and dirt on the bottom. Still, I’d recommend staying for the lovely property and kind service. Our group of four had a fantastic time at Ashcarya. The villa was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully arranged, and the grounds were stunning. Staff kindly gave us free rides to nearby cafes. There’s a small shop for snacks and water nearby, along with two local restaurants within walking distance. Bring your own car if you can, and eat outside the resort.

I slept in and asked if breakfast could be brought to my room. The staff were happy to do it, and there was plenty of tasty food. They were very helpful, and the view was spectacular. I’ll come back.

Pets are welcome, and the owner was very friendly. The staff were nice and helpful too. The food was great, and each room has good Wi-Fi. My room’s tube didn’t work, though, and the toilet smelled. It had rained heavily the night before I arrived, so the pool wasn’t clean and I couldn’t enjoy the bean bag as I’d hoped.

Ducks wandering around the park made the outdoor area feel livelier and friendlier than at other resorts. Our room was clean and roomy, with a great view and a light breeze the whole time. The location worked well, not too far from nearby tourist spots. We visited in low season, and maintenance seemed a little neglected, though the place was still clean. It’s recommendable, but that first run-down impression on arrival kept me from giving five stars.
