A peaceful, quiet place close to nature, with a super friendly and accommodating owner. Breakfast was chicken and mushroom porridge with toast, and the price is affordable. I'd definitely stay again if I visit the area. For getting around, renting a motorcycle is convenient and cheap.

The location was quiet and the hills looked nice, but the stay was disappointing. We paid 2,000 baht a night and got toast and rice porridge with coffee for breakfast. There was some pineapple, but no orange juice, milk, cereal, eggs, sausages, ham, or even a simple salad. The bed was too hard, insects were around, and there was a gecko egg in it. There was nowhere to hang towels and no bathroom mirror. After we went out for a few hours, the owner had no spare key to clean the room, so it wasn't serviced. Her son stayed next to our villa and had about 10 people over for a barbecue, which was very noisy and unpleasant. I told the owner, and she moved them to another room. We booked through Agoda, where the rating was 7.5, but I'd give it 3 out of 10. This was the villa room, Thai style, on 21st July 2013.
