The resort has a calm, authentic feel and lots of character, with traditional Thai, Lanna-style design, dark wood, antiques, plants, and cozy little places to sit. The rooms are beautifully decorated and really comfortable, so you feel relaxed right away. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and looked after us well. A small coffee gripe aside, we’d definitely stay again.

I really looked forward to breakfast each day, and the WiFi handled everything I needed. The shower had reliably hot water, and renting bicycles was an easy, fun way to get around town. I also liked the bathroom tile work, and the room had plenty of space for me. The hotel is beautiful and tasteful without going overboard, especially for the price. The staff were incredible. Because of how it's built, even small sounds carry clearly across both floors. I could hear conversations plainly, mostly children who hadn't been taught indoor voices. I can't blame the hotel for bad parenting, but I really hated the children and their behavior. Why do parents feel entitled to let their kids ruin everyone else's peaceful vacation?

We were driving from Chiang Mai to Bangkok and stopped in Sukhothai for a night to rest and see Sukhothai Historical Park. The front desk staff greeted us with a genuine good evening, then patiently explained nearby sights, suggested routes, and how to get to Sukhothai Historical Park. As first-time visitors, we felt surprisingly at home, with the added pleasure of the artistic surroundings. If you're passing through or taking a road trip and want easy access, food options nearby, thoughtful design, and genuine hospitality, I highly recommend it. We plan to stay here again when we come back from Bangkok.
