B2 Suphan Buri Premier Hotel

Check-in felt unwelcoming and anti-human. They required a cash deposit and wouldn’t accept anything else. They also insisted on a passport, not even a Thai driver’s license, though I live in Thailand. At first they said a passport photo sent through Line wouldn’t be accepted, then said they could use it because it wasn’t clear enough to read. These unusual rules aren’t a smart way to run things and just waste people’s time. Check-in at other hotels is easy and quick, and the owner should know that. This is the last team hotel in the world.

We chose to find somewhere else to rest after a long day of travel because we didn’t agree with the cash payment policy. If you don’t expect guests to pay cash for their room, you’ll lose customers, and anyone who accepts the policy may find soon that cash payments are no longer allowed. B2 isn’t for me.

The mattress is comfortable, the pillows are the best, and the hotel is clean. There’s also a huge car park. But with no swimming pool or gym, it misses out on families who come for tourism and is really only suitable for domestic Thai tourists. I visit this location several times a month, and I’d always stay here if they added a pool or gym.

A basic, nice hotel that looks like it was renovated fairly recently. A good place to stop on the road. I’d give the Suphan Buri one 5 stars, compared with 4 for the one in Bangkok.
