For a seminar, I'd look for a city hotel with meeting rooms, plenty of parking, and a central spot with easy access to activities. Checking reviews for those features could help you find a suitable place.

We had a car, and getting around town and back was easy with Google showing us the local shortcuts. There's plenty of parking, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean and quiet. The restaurant out front is nice too. It's great value if you just need somewhere to stay, though there isn't a pool.

The room was clean, but the woman who checked us in looked disdainful. She made a face when my wife asked whether booking online would be cheaper. The young man on the night shift was much friendlier. There wasn't a kettle in the room, so I had to get two cups of hot water from reception, and there are no FnB places nearby. The key deposit was nearly 450 bt.

There's an amazing restaurant on the hotel premises, and the stay is good value for money.

Lunch and dinner were tasty, and the staff were very nice and friendly. It's on the bypass road, with a large car park and huge grand ballrooms.
