This was the best-reviewed stopover I could find between my destinations. One hassle: unlike almost everywhere else I’ve stayed in Thailand, nobody helped carry my bags upstairs. And when I arrived, the toilet paper was sitting on a table in the main room, not in the bathroom. I only found it after I’d rushed to use the toilet, which was super inconvenient.

After months of travel, I just wanted somewhere simple to relax for a month, and this worked perfectly. The room was clean, the staff were nice, and the hot water and water pressure were good. They only cleaned the room once a week, but I’m pretty simple, so that was fine. There’s a restaurant down the street and a convenience store around the corner. I’d definitely stay here again.

The owners did something incredibly generous for me. I left an item in my Grab taxi on the way to the hotel, and since I had a flight the next day, I couldn’t collect it when it was found. The driver brought it to the hotel, and the owners sent it on to Chiang mai so I could pick it up there. They even said I didn’t need to pay. I honestly don’t think a hotel owner has ever done anything like that for me. The room was clean, spacious, and modern, with comfortable beds too. The people working here are the nicest ever. Can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10❤️
