The mall nearby is a handy bonus for families: there's an indoor playground, actually two, along with shops, lots of food choices, massage, a cinema, and a huge supermarket. The hotel is also a 10-15 min walk from the lively areas my wife calls the “party” spots. Our room was sweet and very clean, with a big fridge and powerful AC. Coffee wasn't in the room, but was available downstairs in the morning. You get what you pay for 😊 We'd booked for two adults and an infant. The queen size double bed wasn't enough for three, and there was no baby cot. The young woman at reception apologized respectfully and offered an extra adult bed for 300 baht. She seemed to understand that wasn't fair, but kept insisting until we argued quite a bit. Then she called her boss, who agreed to provide the extra bed at no charge. I thought I'd mention that small detail.

I stayed a night before flying to Bangkok the next morning. The room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was aimed more at Asian guests, but even as a European I found something to eat and was satisfied.

The location feels a little cut off because of the school next door, so it's not great for walking around and exploring town. Still, the price is very good for these clean, new, high quality rooms. There's a desk and chair, and breakfast includes free toast and Coffe/milo.

It's a 4 minute walk to the night street food market, and the room was quiet with a comfortable bed. They made the bed, brought fresh towels, and supplied water every day. We visited the city park on the island, the night street food market, watched a subtitled film at SF coliseum, and went to City Pillar Shrine (San Lak Muang). The rooms were clean.
