Chongfah Resort

We loved this little hotel, with only about 30 rooms. It’s peaceful, in a good location, and the staff are really friendly. The bed felt a bit hard, and the air-conditioning was quite noisy at night, though it worked very well.

The beds were really good, the breakfast was good, and the staff were happy and welcoming. It’s a lovely spot to relax, close to everything you need. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, both at breakfast and at the seaborn restaurant, where we had lunch and dinner. Breakfast had lots of options, and they brought fresh snacks and fruit to our room every day. We had a wonderful time at Chongfah. The staff were helpful and professional. For my wife’s birthday, they decorated our Beachfront bungalow, arranged a special sea side dinner, and set up an open air Thai massage. The room was spacious enough for the three of us, with a jaccuzi and open shower. It also had a smart TV for Netflix on rainy days. We’ll come back. Thank you 😍

The garden bungalow was spacious and clean, with an outdoor shower and jacuzzi tub, a large main shower, a good-sized bedroom, and a terrace with sun loungers and a dining table. I asked for a room with the best access because I’m not great at walking, and I was very happy with it. At this 30 room boutique hotel, breakfast wasn’t a 500 metres trek across a huge resort. The gardens are beautifully landscaped, and the trees and bushes are labelled with their species. There’s an infinity pool with cabanas and loungers, and it didn’t feel like a place where you’d have to fight for a sun bed. Breakfast was good quality, à la carte, with plenty of choice and strong coffee. A couple of small annoyances: the room TV wasn’t smart, so no Netflix on rainy days, and the shower only had a rain head, with no handheld one for rinsing underneath.
