For the discounted last-minute rate we got through a travel agency, this stay was amazing and we'd love to come back. Everything was clean, the atmosphere was lovely, and there were enough sun beds. The staff were very helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay better. We had no complaints. Breakfast was the best part, with plenty to choose from and everything delicious. I especially miss the fruit, banana pancakes, omelette, and drinks. The Pad see ew was incredible, the best I had in the area after trying four other restaurants. I would have liked mango and more kinds of dragon fruit, or more local fruit in general. Our room was spacious, with a huge comfortable bed and an anti-mosquito device that actually worked once we figured out what it was. The bathroom had some mold, though we didn't have to touch it, and the curtains were dirty. At full price we'd expect a deeper clean, but the room was still good. The fridge was so loud we had to unplug it. We weren't as keen on lunch by the beach or pool. The Pad Thai tasted completely different from elsewhere, almost like another dish, and the other noodles weren't impressive either. We ate there only once, and other guests liked the food, so maybe it was a coincidence. We liked the beach and pool, and the “cliff” was great for a view. I don't think this would be the best place with small kids.

The sunsets at Laguna were the best I've ever seen, and the resort sits right by the sea. You can go from the pool to the beach in less than two minutes. Breakfast at the Noodle Bar was fantastic, and I had a bowl of noodles every morning. We spent three beautiful nights at Khao Lak Laguna Resort for my birthday. The team welcomed us warmly as soon as we arrived and carefully explained everything about the resort. They made my birthday trip feel even more special. Dior was especially wonderful, helping us book excursions and looking after us throughout. I'd recommend this resort to anyone wanting a relaxing break, beautiful horizons, and great service.

Breakfast had a good selection, though check what you're picking up, as there may be ants in some trays, especially the chocolate croissants. Lunch and dinner were fabulous, with portions big enough to share. The room minibar was very reasonably priced. The hotel was very good overall, with large rooms and everything you could want. Nice touches included robes, flip flops, toiletries, and a fruit platter on arrival.

This is our favorite place to stay in Khao Lak so far. We came twice for surfing and island-hopping, and loved the peaceful atmosphere, Thai-style decor, and all the greenery. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean.

Our short stay felt like time in paradise. The bungalow was fantastic and right on the beach, and the staff were very friendly. Both the breakfast buffet and the à la carte food at the beach restaurant were delicious. Beach service was perfect too.
