The owners and staff were friendly, welcoming, and chatty. We stayed for three nights and found the place comfortable and clean. The bedroom was very nice, but the kitchen and living area were quite basic and poorly equipped, so I wouldn’t choose it for self-catering. We planned to eat out, so that wasn’t a problem for us. We’d stay again.

We stayed for a month with our one-year-old son and really enjoyed it. The hosts are very friendly, and there’s live music every evening, plus food and beer. You can also get a massage on site. Our bungalow, number 4, was very nice and clean. We turned the sofa over and put a second mattress against its backrest to make it baby-safe. They brought us a highchair when we asked, and whenever anything needed attention, it was taken care of immediately. The bungalows are cleaned regularly, with bed linen and towels changed. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

The owners of Happy Snapper in Khao Lak have made a lovely bungalow complex, with the bungalows spread around the grounds so everyone gets their own space. We got to look around one of them and thought it was fantastic. Sadly, it was fully booked when we were there, but we’ve already picked it for our next Thailand holiday.

The garden is stunning and well kept, with a terrace and comfortable seating. The houses are small but spacious inside, and very beautiful and clean. The owners are lovely. There’s excellent food in the evenings, live music performances, or otherwise great background music.
