The Sarojin was pure luxury, and we were lucky enough to get upgraded to a jacuzzi pool suite during our two nights there on a three-week trip around Thailand. The room was huge, with the best outdoor shower ever, a super comfortable bed, double sink, two showers, and two bathrooms. The beach was beautiful, clean, and spacious, and they brought water throughout the day. We also liked the beach bar and its 5-6.30pm happy hour. The staff are what set the place apart. They were so friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The à la carte breakfast served until 6pm was excellent too. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel, since there are lovely authentic Thai restaurants along the beach. It does attract an older crowd. My partner and I are in our early 50s, and it’s not often we feel young, but we did here, ha. We’d come back, though only for a few nights, since we like having more to do in the evening.

The setting was beautiful, the service from the staff was wonderful, and the food was exceptional. Breakfast each morning was a magical all-you-can-eat experience. The Sarojin also handled activities, logistics, and everything else we needed for a great stay. Nothing could have been better. I’d highly recommend it and would love to return.

The food was absolutely incredible, and vegans and vegetarians should be very happy here. Even the bread, pastries, and butter have vegan options. Breakfast is all à la carte and made to order, not a buffet, which I loved. I wish more hotels did it that way. Every meal was perfect and beautifully served. Wuth made sure we got exactly what we ordered and that everyone knew my husband is vegan. Nam always greeted us with a lovely smile and checked that we were being looked after. The staff were kind, friendly, efficient, and always smiling. Everyone seemed to enjoy working there. The hotel is quiet, mature, and sophisticated, with lovely details throughout. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are spotless, and housekeeping does a fantastic job. The pool and well-kept grounds are beautiful. This will always be one of my favorite hotels, and I know I’ll return.

The only thing we wished for was easier evening access to taxis or other transport. I think most guests dine at the hotel, but we wanted to explore the surrounding area. Our outing to Phang Nga with Sonya and Pol was a highlight, though the stops were quite touristy, so be aware. We also especially liked beach attendant Fluke. We were looking for somewhere peaceful away from the bustle of Phuket, and the Sarojin delivered. You can walk or run for miles along the beach. On my morning runs, I saw only eight other people the whole time. There’s a larger resort next door on the beach, but it never felt crowded, and the Sarojin’s tranquil setting feels tucked away. The pool is outstanding. The Christmas Eve dinner and Beach BBQ were beautiful. Service was amazing, and my husband said it was his favorite hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Thanks for a great Christmas experience!

This was extremely disappointing, and I’d call it the worst five-star hotel in the world. We found a large amount of animal droppings on the decorative stones on the bathroom floor, which was completely unacceptable for hygiene. There were also two lizards in the room. I had to deal with one myself during the night, which was unpleasant and not something a guest should have to handle. The other got away. We left around 1am and didn’t stay. Finding another hotel then was very difficult, and the situation ruined our honeymoon. We were there only a few hours because the room wasn’t hygienic. Even after we provided photo and video evidence, the hotel refused to take responsibility or refund us. The customer service was very poor too. If cleanliness and basic standards matter to you, I strongly advise reconsidering. Avoid it if hygiene matters.
