The hostel is great, and the owner is really friendly. There are free coffee, tea, and cookies, and you can rent a scooter. Khao Lak itself wasn't so great for me. It's more geared toward resorts than backpackers, things around the area are very expensive, and resorts have taken over the beach.

The location and facilities are great, but the staff are what made the difference for me. Two different taxi companies failed to show up when I needed a ride from Khao Lak, and the staff went out of their way to help. Thank you so much.

Easily one of the best hostels I've stayed in, maybe the best 🫵🏻👑. The owner does everything himself and can take you to the airport for less than Grab, and much less than a taxi. He was a huge help a couple of times, when other people might have turned me away or laughed at me. I'm very grateful for such great service and will definitely come back to this place when I'm in Khao Lak again. 11/10.

It seems like a nice hostel, but the beds are rock hard. I couldn't sleep at all.

One of the most memorable places I stayed during my December trip. Having a microwave oven to warm up food was especially handy. I met some good people and enjoyed the nearby Mo Mo cabaret show. I'd stay here again if I visit Khao Lak.
