The owner, Eang, is cheerful and really helpful, and she shared some great tips for local food. Several eateries and restaurants are within walking distance. The place isn't in a prime location, but it gave us a real feel for life in a small town, which made the stay special. The homestay is tucked down a quiet back lane. Our room was spotless, the mattress was very comfortable, and we had both air-conditioning and a fan. Behind the house there's a platform overlooking what seems like a peaceful pond, and the sunrise from there is beautiful.

The host is so kind and helpful, and the value is amazing. She keeps free snacks around, and you can get soda or beer from the fridge for very cheap. The tidy rooms all have air conditioning. There's a pier over the lake where you can spot animals, including big lizards and even otters living there. She'll also help with ideas for where to go and what to see, and can drive you to the bus stop or call a taxi. Thanks again for a great place.

Don't let the shared bathroom put you off, there are two bathrooms available whenever you need one. The owner was so kind and did everything she could to help us. We arrived by bus and got dropped on the main road, then couldn't figure out how to reach the homestay. We called, and she kindly came to pick us up. There are plenty of free snacks too, plus a fridge freezer stocked with drinks at reasonable prices. A lovely little place.

The deck over the lake has a beautiful sunrise view, and the neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful. There are local shops and a nice place to eat nearby. The host kindly offered us a lift to the bus stop in the morning. The place was spotless and had everything we needed, with a friendly host, free snacks and coffee, and bikes we could borrow ❤️

The price is really good, and the view and location are great too. The owner is kind, and I loved the cute cat and huggable dog. Whenever I’m in Phang Nga, I’ll definitely stay here again.
