The garden was a lovely place to sit in the warm evenings, and the historical park is only a few minutes away by bike. The whole property is beautifully decorated, and our room and bathroom were really nice. Everyone was so friendly, especially Kwan, who helped us with whatever we needed. If we come back to Sukhothai, we’ll stay here again for sure. Kwan, team and family, thanks so much for such an awesome experience!

The host made sure I was happy with every part of my stay, and the staff were great too. The size, comfort, cleanliness, and location were all just right. Five stars all around.

I didn’t expect a tent to be this comfortable, but it ended up being one of the best decisions of my trip. Flooding forced me to look for somewhere new at the last minute after I’d planned to stay in a hostel downtown, and I wasn’t sure about the tent. It had plenty of space and nice pillows, and though there’s no fan or air conditioning while you sleep, the heat was manageable. I also liked waking up without the dry face and throat I usually get from air-conditioned rooms. The hostess is warm and friendly, speaks great English, and makes the place feel welcoming. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with lots to choose from. It felt a bit like sharing a big home: her children were often around and were lovely to chat with or play ping pong with. The bicycles were in great shape and incredibly cheap to rent, a good way to see the temples and historic sites. It wasn’t very busy when I visited, though it seems it could be social. Sukhothai is an older town where most people already seem to have their sightseeing plans and schedules. The location worked well for me, close to the Winton bus stop for long-distance coaches. The hostess kindly booked my coach too. The night market, one of my favorites in Thailand, is an easy, pleasant walk away. I’d definitely stay again if I visit.

I’ll only be here for one night, and I won’t stay somewhere like this again. I should have checked that it was a tent, but they charged another 500 baht to change my accommodation. While the staff set up the tent, they just laughed at me and didn’t even give me water. There’s no air conditioning or fan in the tents either. Paying 600 baht for this place was my own mistake.
